This afternoon, the children listened to a story about an umbrella that had holes in it. It was then their job to find the best material to fix the umbrella.
To do this we used pipettes and some coloured water, we had to squeeze a small amount of water onto a variety of different materials to see which ones kept the tissue underneath dry and which ones made the tissue wet.
In the end we all decided the plastic sheet was the best one for the job!
