Welcome to Robin's Nest Day Nursery. Our top priorities are offering stimulating, safe and a compassionate environment for your children. We provide day care for children between the age of 3 months to 5 years. We are here to suit your needs, whether that is wanting part-time or full time care. Our experienced and qualified nursery practitioner team are here to help. Our team are committed to providing the very best care and nursery experience for your child. All our staff hold a full Paediatric First Aid qualification and have access to additional training.

We are situated in the heart of the town, Just a short walk from the train station in Haywards Heath. We are open Monday to Friday from 7am until 6pm. The only time we are closed are on bank holidays!

About Our Nursery

Each age group has full access to their own dedicated room. Every room has been carefully designed and furnished to stimulate your child's development. Each distinctive stage of development we provide excellent learning and playing equipment.

We have a Baby Room which is ideal for children aged 3 months to 2 years old. This room is a bright and welcoming room to encourage children to develop and explore with toys that have a sensory approach which include painting, sticking and water/ sand play. Which is very popular. We taken on a maximum of 9 babies per day. The Nursery School is suitable for children between the ages of 2 years to 5 years old. In this room we have plenty of stimulating activities to help develop their knowledge and assist in preparation for 'Big School'. Each child's key-person aid's with social and physical skills, as well as, helping children understand how to be caring for each other and the world around us. All children enjoy activities including additional services within the community. All of our children are able to explore and have the freedom to run, slide and climb on our exceptional outdoor equipment in our garden. We have a canopy of trees providing shade in the summer and fun with leaves in the autumn.

What does our nursery fees include?

Our daily nursery fee includes morning snacks, hot lunch, snack tea and all drinks. At Robin's Nest Day Nursery we have a fully trained and qualified chef, with essential experience in catering for children. Our chef specialises in children's nutrition and has undertaken additional training to further her skills. She also works on a 3 weekly menu which is in line with the Children's Food Trust's 'Eat Better Start Better' guidelines. If you would like more information please email Sophie.
